“Impressive”
I stayed for one night at the Contintenale and found the whole experience to be more than impressive. Granted it was a Sunday night and it felt like I was the only person staying over, but for someone who doesn't speak Italian I was able to converse in English with everyone from Reception to the bar to room service. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the showers are funny - like self contained cubicles with a roof on top. The room was quiet and so was the outside street. I ordered room service and was really impressed at the food. The next day I had a more than ample breakfast and ordered coffee in the lobby area while I conducted a couple of meetings, all of the staff were friendly and efficient. I couldn't fault this place and would recommend it to anyone staying in Trieste. Travelling Is Good - London |
